Stock and Salla

One stock count per branch, kept as a record of every movement, and your Salla store follows the branch you pick.

How it works

  • Tracking, item by item

Stock tracking is a switch on each item, and a tracked item needs its own SKU. Count in pieces or by weight, volume, length or area, and track serial numbers, or batches that sell earliest expiry first.

  • Every change is a movement

Each branch’s stock is an append-only record. A sale, a refund, a purchase, an adjustment or waste with its reason each adds a line, and no line is ever edited.

  • Cost and margin

Purchases go in at cost and stock keeps a moving average. Materials a service uses up come off by a standard amount. What leaves reaches the P&L as cost of goods, with margin per item, order and job.

  • Salla follows one branch

Products are matched to your Salla store by SKU, or created there. Tamem sends each price, and the stock of the one branch you choose, to Salla.

  • Channel orders take stock

A channel order from Salla takes its stock when it moves to in progress, and gives it back if it is restored. Each is counted once, however often Salla sends it.

The rules

One store, one branch
One Salla store per business, fed by the one online branch you choose. Salla never sees your other branches’ stock.
Overselling
Not ruled out. Each side learns of the other’s sales after a delay, and the till lets stock go below zero rather than refuse a sale. Materials never block a sale either.
Channel orders
Your Salla store invoices them, so Tamem issues no tax document for them and leaves them out of the P&L.
Security
Every message Salla sends is checked against its signature, and the access keys to your store are stored encrypted.
Your plan
Linking a Salla store depends on your plan.
Not included
A second Salla store, writing fulfillment back to Salla, periodic reconciliation, and product descriptions or more than one language on the first sync.

Sell at the counter, offline too

Salla

Salla runs your storefront. Tamem runs your counter.

Connect your store once and products match by SKU. Salla follows the stock of the one branch you choose, so an abaya sold at that counter comes off the storefront too.

0 sold, 3 on the shelf

Stock moves when an order closes, on either side, so the storefront reads the count your shelf has. The till never refuses a sale: if the count drops below zero, the next delivery or stock count puts it right.
